UN Global Compact participation

ipox has applied for a participation in early 2023, and has been accepted as a participant by the UN Global Compact in 2024. We are guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and implement the SDGs in all aspects of our business activities. We are committed to reaching a sustainable business system, by protecting our employees, customers and the environment in compliance with the 17 sustainable development goals.

ipox chemicals GmbH has integrated ecology as an integral part of its corporate culture and has already been certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 for environmental management systems since 14.12.2017. The company philosophy contains a clear commitment to environmental protection, which is represented in our mission statement as follows: Protection of people and the environment is a fundamental principle. Here, chemistry and the environment are not contradictory!

Occupational health and safety management at ipox:

ipox chemicals has established a solid health and safety management system at it’s production site in 2025. We are committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions in order to prevent work-related injuries and ill health.

International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC Plus) at ipox:

We have renewed our ISCC Plus certification for the third time in a row in 2025. We work with high-quality raw materials, regulated technology, and multiple, thorough quality checks. We place great emphasis on developing new products, taking into account occupational safety and environmental protection considerations throughout the entire life cycle of our products.

EcoVadis

For the third year in a row, ipox GmbH has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for its sustainability management. After receiving EcoVadis Gold in 2025, ipoX Kft also received the EcoVadis Platinum Medal in 2026.

The EcoVadis rating evaluates the topics of environment, labor- and human rights and ethics.

Carbon footprint inventory of ipox GmbH and ipox Kft

ipox has taken more action in order to reduce it’s environmental impact in the past couple of years, than ever. One of the first steps in this process was the development and transparent reporting of ipox’s corporate level carbon footprint inventory. ipox is committed to taking action in reducing it’s environmental impact with the climate in mind.
